The Boxscore Geeks Show: Why Kobe was never a top five player

We had a podcast discussing my recent article on why Kobe was never a top five player. It was actually recorded before I finished writing the article, so it's kind of a behind the scenes look. Tune in!

Show Notes

Not a ton for show notes, you can check out my piece: "Why Kobe Bryant was never a top five player."

We are planning on having a game for a few weeks called: Game of Thrones vs. Rick and Morty. When we recorded this episode, the faceoff would have been:

  • Rick and Morty Season 3 Episode 2: Rickmancing the Stone
  • Game of Thrones Season 7 Episode 3: The Queen's Justice

On the show we didn't play because Brian "didn't do his home work." and I remarked I thought it was likely a push (in hindsight, I probably give Game of Thrones the win). We took last week off and didn't play, but that's fine as "The Spoils of War" crushed "Pickle Rick." And I'm not saying Pickle Rick was a bad episode, but "Spoils of War" was just that good. Tune in this week to hear how we go.

Last note, Brian throws in some curve balls about Bill Russell vs. Kobe. Tune in to hear that conversation.
