Show Notes

We talk some Game of Thrones and how, last week at least, the NBA Playoffs were a more compelling drama. We'll see if this week is the same. Also, check out "Winter is Taking Forever" if you like a Game of Thrones recap show.

Of course, we're here to talk playoffs, well, even more, playoffs!

The Warriors are a 2-1 favorite in the Finals according to Vegas. Their odds were as low as 4% at one point.

Patrick doesn't think there was a major referee problem in the Conference Finals. He thinks that the Warriors' offense caused people to focus on aspects of refereeing they don't usually watch.

Of course, we think "old-timers" like thirty-seven-year-old Tracy McGrady bashing the "modern era" is stupid. Patrick reminds us that there were rule biases in the past too that everyone forgets.

We have lots of discussion on the Conference Finals. It's 90% Warriors/Thunder and 10% Cavs/Raptors, so tune in!

We talk where Kevin Durant will go next season. The most controversial take probably belongs to Parody Magic Johnson.

My dream is for the 76ers to end up with DeMar DeRozan and Brandon Ingram next season. Please, make this happen.

We discuss the difference in Klay Thompson and DeMar DeRozan's "average" regular production and what happens when their team needs them to "step up."

Our Warriors' fan producer Brian has had this on loop since the Warriors made the Finals.

The Warriors/Thunder was the highest NBA ratings game in history. You couldn't script a better narrative.

I point out the Sonics' fans that feel happy the Thunder lost that they won the Sonics/Thunder move. Patrick says you're allowed to have multiple emotions.

We make "predictions" on who will win the Finals and who will win Finals MVP.

Being a WWE fan is now like being a Cubs fans. The Cubs are good now, so it's worse than being a Cubs fan.

Shout Outs

Patrick shouts out Greta Van Susteren for not understanding how far away Pluto is. I say it's clear she hasn't seen the fantastic movie "The Martian."

Brian shouts out the "Game of Zones" on the Bleacher Report channel.
