It's the offseason, so we're discussing a Reddit thread discussing a podcast discussing the importance of three-point shooting. Yes, this is what it's come to.
Side note, if you're a fan of the show "The Good Place" (and why wouldn't you be?), they have a "fantastic podcast that's worth checking out.
Alright, "preseason prediction time!", of course, we do this with little research and gut check, and I reserve the right to just pass on some teams. Here's what we thought (or rather what Dre thought. I'd be shocked if Patrick doesn't disagree with some of these takes.

Atlanta Hawks

Meh. Lottery teams in the 20 win range that are accurately measured aren't worth touching in these bets.

It hurts to admit the Spurs improved with the loss of Kawhi Leonard. That said, he didn't play last season. The Spurs won more games than this last season. Brian notes a few players are worth worrying about (Rudy Gay and LaMarcus Aldridge), that said I take the over and don't look back!
Toronto Raptors
- 55 over/under
Even if Kawhi never suits up, this team hits that. Easy over. Next.
Utah Jazz
- 49 over/under
Another easy one. They were a 48 win team last season with the NBA's best big man missing significant minutes. Also, expect Donovan Mitchell to improve, and the Jazz should easily be a 50 win team.
Washington Wizards
- 44.5 over/under
Another over? Yup! This team added Dwight Howard, who's stayed productive. John Wall had an off year last season. They should easily pick up a few wins.
