The Boxscore Geeks Show: The East

We also have the show in audio form (some call it a podcast!)

As always, massive thanks to our producer Brian Foster.

Show Notes

Vivek is back! You may remember him as the optimistic Nets fans. Sadly since we last spoke things have changed.

Sums up the problem with All-Star voting.

In terms of bets, Patrick's predictions are still looking good. The only one he'd really like back is Portland.

Hope you enjoyed the show. If you have topics you'd like us to discuss add them in the comments or send them along on Twitter!

How about a post about the eastern conference all-stars excluding the Pacers and Heat according to the BSG.

Just perusing the WP48 leader board an noticed Affalo and Webster are quietly pulling a Batum/Mathews with much less fanfare and success (team wins).

Do the Wizards need a high volume "shot-creating" power forward? I know Arturo has teased concept as a possible "signal" for productive team offense.

Or is it just that Whitman is that bad?
*Afflalo
*Wittman
Ok....will you guys do me a solid and delete all of my previous posts.

Wizards seem to have a Beal issue (even though Arturo loves his shooting ability). Another interesting post could be a blocker and stopper post.

Players who are getting minutes and blocking more efficient players (Beal taking minutes away from Ariza and Webster - granted bench depth is a huge factor).

Players who stop/hemorrhage the bleeding such as Trey Burke taking minutes from Tinsley and John Lucas (h/t to WoW don't play negative win players). Note - these players aren't great but far better than alternative

Quick blocker list:

Jarrett Jack, Kyrie Irving, Dion Waters potentially blocking Dellavedova

Pau Gasol - Jordan Hill

Bargnani - insert NBADL call up

Quick stoppers list:

Steven Adams and Jeremy Lamb stopping Perky Fish

MCW should stop the Tony Wroten experience

This would really be a roster minute reallocation and optimization exercise.
