Footnotes

We discuss the rumor mill surrounding Hassan Whiteside.

The Heat's salary situation is such that they are pretty much handcuffed by Chris Bosh, Goran Dragic, and Dwyane Wade(if they bring him back.)

Hassan Whiteside is in a situation where no team holds his Bird Rights. That means the Heat can't go over the cap to extend him.

The new CBA made "sign and trade" deals a lot less useful to teams. As such, having the "rights" to Whiteside is worth little, if anything.

We take a brief interlude to discuss Wayne's World. Relevent, I know!

Mad respect to Tony Parker this season. We talk why the Spurs are doing well and some theories on LaMarcus Aldridge.

The Spurs are now right on the heels of the Warriors in terms of point differential. The Warriors did blowout the Suns after we finished recording to gain a little ground though.

The Spurs did indeed offer to part ways with Tony Parker for Chris Paul back in the day. Basically, the idea of eventually trading LaMarcus Aldridge is not out of the question.

We talk my article on the Ralph Sampson no-trade to the Lakers in the 1980s. If you liked that, Patrick adds even more awesome hypotheticals.

You can't discuss the Spurs and winning culture without discussing their H-E-B ads.
