It's Monday. Too busy to write. But don't worry, I've got the internet to keep you busy. Last night on "Last Week Tonight", John Oliver hilariously tore the NCAA a new one for its practice of exploiting young athletes:
"March is on! Fuck you, February!"
Mr. Oliver brings up a lot of points that we agree wholeheartedly with. Given that the TV contract that CBS holds for March Madness pays the NCAA $1 billion dollars, the suggestion that college hoops doesn't make money for any of the universities is laughable.
If the programs don't make money, why are so many coaches paid so much? As Dre pointed out last week, you could give away 176 full sholarships per year on Rick Pittino's salary.
