When it came down to most teams, you all got along. The standard deviation for a lot of the league fell between 4 and 6 wins. Of course, as we've pointed out, this is a fairly large range. That said, there were a few teams you really disagreed on:

  • 8.1 Standard Deviation
  •     76ers
  • 7.1 Standard Deviation
  •     Suns
  • 6.7 Standard Deviation
  •     Celtics
  • 6.5 Standard Deviation
  •     Lakers
  • 6.2 Standard Deviation
  •     Jazz

The 76ers caused the most friction among Boxcore Geek prognosticators. Some think they'll be as low as the terrible Nuggets and Mavericks on the 90s. Others believe us when we say they're not that bad and think they might hit 41 wins and make the playoffs.

A similar story was true of the Suns. Some had them super low (12 wins), while others left them at 41 wins, just good enough to miss the playoffs. I'm not sure how many rushed in after the Gortat trade to update their predictions either.

Arturo's call that the Celtics had two paths seems to have resonated with readers. Some think they'll fall like the 2007 Celtics. Others think they could just grab the eighth seed out east.

The Lakers and the Jazz are in a similar boat when it comes to predictions. They managed to make it as high as the 6th seed for some people. Others had each of them losing the west. We definitely see why some are high on the Jazz. In regards to the Lakers though, do some know of an upcoming trade we don't?

We'll be working on cool ways to keep these updated as the season goes on. Thanks for all of you who entered! And now, we can try and "prove" our assumptions on a few games. So, we were right about Philly, right?
