The lines come from the Las Vegas Westgate (which I picked solely because it is where I placed these bets).

The Dallas bet is very simple. Go Portland. It's hard to read the tea leaves, but it looks like Tyson Chandler will not play, which is very good news. But Portland is also very banged up, so who knows what we're going to see here.

The San Antonio bet is slightly more complicated, but in essence, San Antonio needs to win. If they lose, they will need both Memphis and Houston to lose, which is certainly possible but not likely.

Either bet puts the portfolio in the black.

I hate rooting for Portland.
